Surviving my 1st hike!

Ok. If you know me personally - you probably wouldn't label me the "outdoorsy girl". I'm not big on farms, petting zoos, nature trails, camping, fishing, or hiking. I'm more of the "read a book on a beach somewhere" girl. Now - this is not to say that I do not like to exert myself. I enjoy water sports and a good gym class now and then.

This past weekend a group of us went on a hike. Yep. Me on a nature trail. A 4 mile hike with inclines and waterfalls. It was beautiful!! Though I do not think I'll be hiking again any time soon - the photos of the trail are beautiful (because the scenery was beautiful).

A Technological Scare

Is is a bad sign when you feel an slight identity crisis when your Facebook page disappears?

Yesterday morning I woke up to a disabled account:
"Your account has been disabled because using fake names or not being a real person is prohibited."
Whaaaa? Since yesterday my account has been fixed - Facebook experienced a "bug" and are doing reparations for all the deleted accounts. Here's the full story: http://gawker.com/5691682/facebook-gives-women-the-third-degree

So, in light of technology... here's a double page layout of robots! :D lol

{Boys In Motion}

 double page layout. (1) 5x7, (2) 4x6 photos
it's considered rare to have an opportunity to rhinestones on a boys' page!!
hand stitched tire tracks. i'm thinking Wall-E track marks!
ok, I wanted to show off these gears. They can move! They are only held down by the brads so they can spin!
a zoom on in the title - cut from an electronic machine in the "Calvin & Hobbes" font (p.s. my favorite comic strip)

Supply List:
Printed Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics

Nameplate Arrow & Gears: Quickutz

2 Peas Challenge!

Good morning all!

Today I went on the 2Peas website & found a fun little challenge!!

Garden Girl
Challenge - Photography Challenge: Photography Challenge: Little Things
by hyperstarre
posted 11/01/10 at 08:34 AM

This week's theme is little things! You can interpret this theme in a variety of ways. I did it two ways here - the first two photos repreent "little things" in the literal way - a couple of mini cupcakes and little wind-up camera toys. The next four are little things that make me happy - a lovely cup of coffee, more cupcakes, pretty little flowers, and a gorgeous golden gate sunset.

Upload your photo(s) by 11:59 PM CST on November 7th, making sure to check the appropriate challenge box, for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Two Peas store. The winner will be announced on the Garden Girl blog [twopeasinabucket.com] next Monday! Have fun interpreting this theme in your own way

Here are the photos I chose to enter into the challenge as my interpretation of "The Little Things"

If you're on 2Peas, I encourage you to join!
